Gotta Love the Hype

Before (above)

After ...

So, super-model Heidi Klum has revealed her anti-aging secret. You can go watch the vid, but I can sum it up for you: She's thirty-seven.

There it is, folks. Best way to look young is to be young.

Amazing, isn't it?

It cracks me up every time I see one of these miracle-cream anti-age commercials featuring a twenty- or thirty-something woman smiling through her Botox as the V.O. blathers on about how this goop smoothes out wrinkles. Uh huh.

When they put somebody up who looks like Mother Teresa at eighty, rub some of the miracle formula onto her face and make her look like Heidi Klum? Then they'll get my attention. Until then, it's snake-oil ...

I remember reading a study or was it in a health book about how if you stay hydrated (about 2 litters a day) that you would get they same effect as if you used some of the leading wrinkle creams. They then they added an improved diet for better skin renewal, and they the skin was more elastic, less brittle and thicker. They found that most wrinkle cream do is just added mosture and some fillers to puff up the skin and would quickly fade/ dry out, and did nothing to improve the health of the skin. This was about 3 years a go, and know saw a commercial the other day where they are injecting collagen right into the skin of the faces now; at least it's not botulism.

Oh well eat healthy or quick fix... Choices.

I think i'll take my chances with eating healthy than going to some quick fix that can go horribly wrong, big time=)
