How 2 Rite Gud, Part 2

Apparently the one-day writing seminar that I am teaching this September has found a time and place. Information on this is at the Oregon Writers Colony site. By a stroke of good fortune, 'twill be held in Beaverton, which is certainly convenient for me.

September 29th, a Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., breaks to go pee and for lunch and all like that.

I prefer to keep the classes small and fairly informal, so if you have any interest in hearing me blather on about how to write -- and paying for it -- have a look.

I can't turn you into a writer -- anybody promises you that is blowing sunshine up your sarong. Either you want to do it or you don't, that part is up to you. The only way to get there is the old Nike commercial, you just do it. I can offer some tips and tricks I have learned along the way that might save you some time and aggravation if this is your chosen path. I have been through the woods a few times, I know where some of the trails are, and where there are pitfalls and hungry critters to avoid ...

We return you now to your regularly scheduled programming ...

We will all be taking up a collection to send Bobbe down for the event. We hate to do it to you since he will no doubt come bearing Euro-Trash beer, but the kid needs all the help he can get. (We already have seventy three cents, two M&Ms and some antique pocket lint in the mason jar)

Bobbe, you need to head down to MacTarnahan's Brewing company when you get to Portland and tell them that (in just that accent) :-D

Tiel can take the video (we can sell them on ebay to raise money for your rit'n gud lessons)
