One shouldn't feel happy about the death of a fellow man–well, mostly, because we all know there are some who should go–but I found this one didn't make me particularly sad.

Was the Rooster OK?
I'm a little surprised. The knives they attach to the roosters aren't that big and he got stabbed in the calf.
We're mighty fragile.
According to a follow-up, the blade cut an artery. Guy could have been a bleeder, and probably they didn't get it checked out until it was too late. Could have opened up his calf pretty good -- the knives are small but sharp, and you could do a fair amount of damage with a razor blade if you place the cut right.
Ah. I also guess they'd be a bit hesitant to call 911, given the venue and possible immigration status.
