Sauce for the Goose, Sauce for the Gander

So, Bobbe taught a seminar this past weekend, courtesy of Jay Carstensen, in Des Moines. That's Iowa. Sounds like they had a fine ole time, and more power to them.

But: pictures were taken, and this was one of them.

Guess what? You don't get to give me shit about ab-shots any more, Tinkerbelle ...

I notice you didn't screw with Sir Arthur C. Clarke's picture.

I'm not speaking to you.

STILL not speaking to you.

I mean, you're supposed to be encouraging me, guiding me along the path of an author.

Instead, you kick me in the balls and laugh.

Maybe I can find another mentor at NorwestCon this weekend.

Well, I could put up a different picture. I have one of you tonguing somebody's ear around here somewhere, a fellow of the male persuasion. Yo want me to see if I can find it?

Hey, Kid, I'm encouraging you. You can write about, oh, I dunno, interior decorating. Track-lighting? Your adventures in Neverland with Cap'n Hook and the Lost Boys ...

Wouldn't it be a shame if that picture ended up on a Fark.com photoshop contest?

I'm sure nobody here would want that. Bobbe, your displeasure can be expressed in the form of used, small-denomination unmarked banknotes

Bastards to a man.

And yet ... where did I get this picture? All I did was crop it for emphasis. It would have been worse had I simply posted it as I found it, for then people would realize that you were standing en-pointe in *public*, surrounded by others ...

Hoist thee upon thy own petard, Mister Bobbe ...
