I wonder if the FAA would let you land it on the freeway and pull into a truckstop for gas?
You know somebody will try that, though the obvious rationale for the thing is to and from the airport so you could leave it home in the garage instead of in a hangar. Or if you had an airstrip in the country somewhere, or a long stretch of deserted highway ...
