Um, no, it would have to be black onyx, there at the back of the ring behind the emblem, wouldn't it ... ?

I just find it ironic that such symbology so often includes the color black. It's like a tacit admission that they can't live without it.

Or maybe they're trying to get some subliminalism across: Dixie is the shield, with a whole lot of weapons clustered behind it.

Surrounded with black. Like Custer's last stand.
