Here, we had our first May in fifteen years without even an eighty-degree day. Been raining all week -- something like twice the amount of rain we usually get this time of year --and lucky to hit seventy degrees today during a brief lull. The forecast is for more rain. Local weather guy isn't even using "partly sunny" these days, he's saying "brightened," as in, "It brightened for a few minutes this morning ..."
So I sent a picture to my sister-in-law, (above) and a note telling her how I hope she enjoys her new pool as much as we enjoy ours ...

I've been running north/south lately. I was just south of the Canadian border the other night. It was in the mid forties hi thirties that night. In Texas it was in the mid nineties that day.
North/south makes a BIG difference in temp.
Cold and rainy up here near the Canadian border too.
Pretty good for everything on the farms except tomatoes...
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Know how to tell if it's summer and you're a cop in FL? You put on your ballistic vest and it's still wet with your sweat from the day before. Fortunately, you only notice the cold, clammy, slimy feeling for about the first 5 minutes. What a relief.
