ReplyDeleteAnother example of Murphy's Law -- if there is one typo in a hundred thousand words, it will be in the worst possible spot it can be -- able to change the entire meaning of the book ...
And for a more serious answer, I'm not much of a musical performer out where people can get close enough to throw things and hit me.
ReplyDeleteMy ego -- slightly larger than Texas, but a bit smaller than Alaska -- is such that I wouldn't mind being thought the cat's pajamas if I got up on a stage; however, I also know my limitations. I have a serviceable voice and basic fingerpicking skills, and the occasional posting of a video here or maybe on YouTube is enough to satisfy my need to be seen and heard.
If I spent more time working at it, I could probably write some decent songs and having somebody who could really sing and play cover one would be much more fun. And profitable, too ...
