Tyger, Tyger, Burning Bright

A tour bus driver from Beijing, hauling tourists to visit the Siberian tiger breeding center in Heilongjiang, was killed by one of the critters when he got out his bus, which was stuck in the snow.

The big cat dragged him into the forest and by the time employees shooed the tiger away, using firecrackers and tranquilizer darts, the driver was dead.

There are apparently about a thousand animals on the preserve, the largest breeding center for Siberian tigers in the world.

The rules apparently say, "Do not get out of your vehicle."

With a thousand tigers around, that's probably the smart move.
