Domain

For my birthday, my son bought me a domain name: www.StevePerryWriter.com/

Nothing there but a re-direct to my blog, but how cool is that?

  1. You now have the opportunity for redundancy email. StevePerryWriter@StvePerryWriter.com.

    On a completely different note:

  2. Nice manly fanny pack that you're wearing there, Steve.

  3. Yeah, I thought about getting a belly pouch in lime green or pink, but that wouldn't fool anybody. What with the phone, iPod and camera case, it does tend to look like Batman's utility belt ...

  4. The Fanny Pack.

I work at REI (one of three jobs I maintain). We have a little wall o' butt-pouches and sell them to a particular audience (phrenologists would have a field day).

However, the most requested item that we do not carry is the all-leather, multi-zip pocketed version that was massively popular in the 80's.

So, hold on to the one you have Steve, it'll be worth something if you need the cash.

    ;-)

  5. Actually, I've had a dozen assorted pouches over the years, some small, some larger. This particular model has Velcro closures on both ends under the zippers, in case I need -- for some reason -- to open it and remove something in a big hurry ...

  6. Is concealed carry legal in Oregon? There was a brief fad for fanny pack carry in L.A. back in the 90s, but it didn't take long for the police to catch on to it. Men wearing fanny packs suddenly found out what "driving while black" is all about. As fads go it didn't last long.

  7. Yep, concealed carry is licensed in most states, though such tickets are rare in California. OR, WA, ID are much easier.
