Yeah, Edwin ordered a bunch of Cold Steel's katanas (bokken) made from the same stuff as the escrima sticks, and we cut them down to golok/machete length for training . That black plastic holds up well to repeated impact -- we haven't broken one yet.
Where can I find a carbon fiber cane like the one used by Weems? thats the question :)
