The vid is a little slow during the intro, just a woman onstage talking, but it's worth watching for the gosh-wow factor once it gets rolling -- real Minority Report stuff here ...
At a quick glance it looks like a recycling of a lot of ideas which were left on the table from Sun's _Starfire_ .

Not something I would rush out and buy, either, but that's not the point. There is a lot of this kind of tech coming down the pike, and some of it will break down on the road, some won't. I just find it interesting how people think about such things.
ReplyDeleteI used to listen to 78 records, then 45's and 33's, followed by eight tracks, cassette tapes, DATs, CD's and now I have a small iPod. Mostly when I listen to music, it is still on a CD, either a commercial one or one I've burned from music I've recorded myself.
The future has arrived and we are living in it ...
