Well, I dunno if smaller is always better, but in the case of something you want concealed, it is easier to hide it. A .357 Magnum K-frame revolver isn't close to a .308 sniper rifle for punch, but it is somewhat easier to hide under a windbreaker ...
Now that is what I am talking about! The smaller the better is always the way to go with a blade.
