My best advise comes from an old Tom Hanks/Sally Field movie about doing comedy, "Do not try to speak to your whole audience all at once. Pick one person, talk to them and then move on to the next person and so on". I have found that this gets me by in a small room or a crowd of thousands. <br />DaveDave Husshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06400807915310271562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29640480.post-59616086211459628842011-09-21T17:51:35.379-07:002011-09-21T17:51:35.379-07:00When I was a senior in high school, I had to read ...When I was a senior in high school, I had to read a poem in front my English class. I was truly horrified. The teacher had made it clear that failure to read before the class would result in failing the course. I went to the drama teacher for help, and she gave me very similar advice, "Take a step back. Pretend it's not you." That advice, along with "practice, practice, practice," lead me to an "A" for the poem, the project, and the course.xenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16168511483335009553noreply@blogger.com
