D...Ah, it's been nagging me for a couple of months. Dunno what exactly precipitated it -- woke up one morning and it hurt. Thinking back, it could have been any of several things, but I didn't hear it go pop! or feel it at the time that I recall.

Not so bad I can't walk, but enough so I'm aware of it any time I'm up and about. Conservative treatment is to baby it for a while. If it gets better, good. If not, then we go to the MRI. If it's not a major tear, then we keep moving gingerly and wait and see. If it is, then we have to think about letting the orthopods hack at it. Most of that is done with an arthroscope these day, so it's not the eight-inch Frankenstein scar of yore; still, it does require invasive procedures to cut and stitch.

I'm giving it until the end of the summer if it doesn't get worse ...Steve Perryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12079658447270792228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29640480.post-31238322026387537312008-07-17T16:53:00.000-07:002008-07-17T16:53:00.000-07:00When/how did this happen? On an airplane. I'm just saying....I think the cane will come in more useful than a briefcase full of hardback books.Bradhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15680649113849271048noreply@blogger.com
