Certain types of roofing are allowed, certain paint colors are not, let the weeds grow, you get nasty letters. Any repairs have to be vetted in advance. I'd never been in a neighborhood association before, I didn't have any idea what that meant when I signed those papers.<br /><br />I don't begrudge the guy with crappy yard work, who isn't in our neighborhood, but a block over.
